I can't turn off the "Use DMXzone Image Resizer" option. This basically means that I can't edit existing slides and have to create new ones every time I want to change an image.

Using DWCC.

Hope someone can help. Thank you.

Hello Nathon,
You CAN turn the resizer off by unchecking the check-box enabling it.

Yes, but when we open the Slider again it is back on!
We then can't edit any existing slides without specifying resizing options.

The checkbox is marked by default, when you need to edit a slide, just turn it off again.

When we try to edit a slide, DMXzone Image Resizer IS unticked....yet still the dialog box asking us to specify resizing dimension appears.

What option /settings of an image that is already inserted do you need to "edit" ? The edit option only gives you an option to resize/crop/sharpen the images... When you use the add image option the resizer do not appear. That is how it is supposed to work.

I need to change the image itself!

I'm happy with the Title, ID, Link, Description, I just want to change the image. Is that not possible? Every time I want to make a change to an image, I need to re-enter the Title, ID Link and Description?

Appreciate the help, thank you.

When you need to change the image you should remove it and add a new one. If you are using title and/or description you should reapply them.

So, basically, you can't edit an existing image? What is the point of the Edit button? Is that only to allow editing when you've selected to use the DMXzone Image Resizer?

Man, I find that all a bit confusing really and a pain that we have to re-type our Title, ID, Link and Description every time we want to change a slide. Maybe a feature request for future releases?

Thank you for the guidance Teodor.

Teodor, quick question relating to this discussion...
Let's say I have 10 images in my slideshow:
1
2
3
etc

I want to edit Item 2 by changing its image. You have stated that the only way this is possible is to remove it and add a new one.
What if I want to maintain the order though?

Adding a new slide puts it at the bottom of the list. By your logic, I'd have to remove and re-add images 3, 4, 5, 6 etc just to keep the order because there is no way to edit an existing image.

Have I misunderstood your explanation? Can you clarify?

Hello Nathon,
There are two arrows in the UI that move the images up or down in the list, so there is no need to delete all of your images.

Ah, sorry, didn't spot those until now! Jeezo!

As a feature request, to save people having to retype a title, ID, link and description every time they want to change an image, would you consider adding in a more robust edit facility that would allow simple swapping out of one image for another?

Thank you.
