can i use html editor3 also for editing pure html5 sites or must they be php/cms??

do i understand right, that html editor edits html only in dreamweaver?
or will my client be able to logg into any html-site via browser in order to edit
the site from online?

Yes your client will be able to do that. With the lattest version of the extension , your client will be able also to edit the site on IPad & IPhone also.

No, the extension installs on your page via DW.
