EXCITING!
I am a happy Dreamweaver CS5 user and never use anything else. I have seen a lot of other editors, but have never considered them worth while.
What I see thus far in Advanced HTML Editor 3 may just change that. Features like jQuery 1.4.4, support for all browsers and HTML5 make this exciting. Couple that with the fact that products from DMX Zone always seem to work just as we want them to, and, well, I am VERY anxious to see the completed product.
AT LAST!
I had become frustrated with version 2 having had to downgrade from 2.0.11 to 2.0.10 just to provide compatability with IE, but in doing so had to sacrifice Google Chrome compatibility. I have over 700 users on my website and growing whom regularly use the Advanced HTML Editor interface to update their adverts. I had been looking for alternatives as support appeared to have ceased for this product - until this announcement! I just hope it is genuinely compatible with all browsers and is mostly quirk free, although I appreciate there is always a requirement to tweak a product now and then. Can't wait for release date to be honest...
