setting browser bars in popup windows

if you are making a popup window in flash, like a "geturl" target that you want to appear in a new window, and you want the change whether or not there will be scrollbars, url bars, menu bars, etc... enter this piece of script into your actionscript

if you are making a popup window in flash, like a "geturl" target that you want to appear in a new window, and you want the change whether or not there will be scrollbars, url bars, menu bars, etc... enter this into the "geturl" url space:

javascript:window.open('http://www.enter your url here.com','name of the window','width=570,height=650,top='+((screen.height/2)-(NaN))+',left='+((screen.width/2)-(NaN))+',toolbar=no,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,menubar=no,status=no,directories=no,location=no');%20void(0);

DO NOT put  a target window under where it says target. this piece of javascript creates a window, and if you know a little java script, or can see the obvious you can change this a little bit to fit your needs.

this particular one creates a window that is 570 wide and 650 high, but you can change all of that or whatever you want.

there might be other ways of doing this, there are components available to download and such, but this will let you turn anything into a button, and make it do anything you want to (unlike a component, if you don't like a large amount of work).
