I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 and Windows XP. The porblem happens when I click on the edit or manage presets buttons for the configuration and edit functions. I get this message first: Could not find onInit Javascript function: _init

Under Windows XP what account are you using? Just a regular user account or the administrator account?
Also have your restarted DW and maybe cleared its cache?

Using the Administrator account directly is a very bad idea.
Here is a FAQ how to fix it: www.dmxzone.com/go?11711
Best is just to avoid using the Administrator account directly and just have a user account that has administrator privileges. That is the standard setup in XP/Vista.
