I have purchases Flash Enhancer. I am running Window XP Home. I can't seem to get this extension to work. First, do I need to upload the site to a server before I can see the effects? Can I preview this in DreamWeaver 8? I do not run a local server on XP home.

Hi Myra,

Flash Image Enhancer does not have preview functionality into Dreamweaver design view as Flash Album Generator 2 and Active SlideShow Pro extensions. But, you should be able to load the page into your browser and see the Flash effects.

Also, you should be able to see the effect even without web server (Just don't link to external images/URL when testing pages on your local machine. This is not allowed by the Flash Player).

Try the following URL and check if you could see the Flash Image Enhancer sample gallery with the Mouse Over effects:
85.187.125.240:7777/public/FIE/sample_FIE_page.html

If you cannot see the effects then the problem is with your browser.

If the problem persist please upload your page on a server and provide a link to it. We will try to test the problem.
